MEASURE "Q" DEFEATED!

People4UplandParks_Thank You for Saving

THANK YOU!

On November 3, 2020, Our Community Defeated Measure Q and Stopped the Sale of 4.6 Acres of Upland Memorial Park!!

We, People for Upland Parks, are so grateful for the many people in our local and global community who participated in our successful campaign to defeat Measure Q and truly save Upland Memorial Park. A special thank you goes out to the Sierra Club and Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability for their public support against Measure Q. And, of course, we especially thank all of the 19,188 voters who took a stand to preserve such a historic and beautiful part of our community by voting “No” on Measure Q.  Our votes have served to protect Upland's only junior/senior baseball field, shade trees, natural areas, and other park amenities for current and future generations.

Please continue to stand with us as we carry on our advocacy for the preservation and improvement of all of Upland’s parkland.

Final November 3, 2020, certified election results from the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters.
